Mr. Krause is CEO and President of Path Construction. His career spans more than 30 years in the Construction/Technical industry and his professional experience is extensive.
Mr. Krause is Vice President at Path Construction. In his role he oversees all contract related matters including negotiations, purchasing oversight, and risk management with all private and public subcontractors and clients.
Mr. Cerulli is the Director of Business Development for Path Construction. He is responsible for growth and maintaining current client relationships through Path’s national coverage area.
Dipesh Thakkar is the Director of Estimating (Public works) at Path. He has completed his Master of Civil Engineering in 1991 with Structural Engineering as a major.
He takes a lead on all public projects and manages Estimating Team. He has more than 28 years of experience in construction industry with estimating Public projects including Schools, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Libraries, Municipal Buildings and Water treatment facilities. His estimating experience also includes conceptual estimating, value engineering and construction budgets.
He has worked with various public agencies like CPS, CDB, UIC, Argonne National Lab, Fermilab, MWRD, University of Chicago Hospitals, Various School Districts, Various Municipal Facilities, City of Chicago, Cook County, FPD, CTA and Pace.
Maddie Krause became the Human Resources Generalist at Path Construction in 2019. She has experience in staffing, recruiting, onboarding and training. Maddie is also involved in compliance and benefits, along with policy and handbook development. Ms. Krause plays a pivotal role in the positive and engaging work environment at Path Construction. She provides continued support to our employees throughout the country.
Ms. Krause holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from DePaul University in Chicago. Maddie has since found Human Resources is her passion and is proud of her contributions to Path and each individual’s career growth and development.
Mr. Pimentel is a Senior Project Manager at Path Construction. In his role he is responsible for managing and leading his construction team for each assigned project. This involves coordinating day-to-day activities of subcontractors and suppliers, contract administration, procurement, creating and maintaining schedules, pay requests, change orders, information requests, cost control, tracking submittals, maintaining and delivering a high level of quality , and running or assisting with OAC, subcontractor and team meetings.
Phil’s 14 years of experience includes a diverse portfolio of knowledge and technical proficiency in wide variety of construction projects. His experience includes significant involvement in commercial, retail, higher education, schoolwork, hospitality, municipal, residential, senior living, and LEED projects.
Mr. Lynch is the Division Manager of Path Southwest. With over 25 years of industry experience, he manages teams in all aspects of construction and has a background in projects ranging from $1 million to $3.5 billion. Over the course of his career, Mr. Lynch has performed work in multiple asset classes including high rise structures, multi family, senior living, higher education, USACE, commercial office, tilt up warehouses, food production, manufacturing, heavy industrial, heavy civil as well as nuclear facilities and multiple state agencies. In addition, he also has extensive knowledge of the self- perform side of construction.
Mr. Lynch is passionate about bringing construction to the next generation of owners, designers and construction trades people. He believes in utilizing technology in a manner that best suites each project. He prides himself on being a consensus builder, developing a project plan that allows for success in schedule, quality and budget all delivered in the safest work environment possible. He keeps his finger on the pulse of the industry through his involvement with multiple industry related organizations.

Paul Sowa manages the Heavy Highway Division for Path Construction and oversees all estimating and project management functions for that division. Paul plays a major role in securing projects in the public sector, IE IDOT, CDOT, MWRD, Cook County DOT, Cook County Forest Preserve, Kane County DOT, Lake County DOT, Illinois Tollway, and other Local Municipalities. The projects range from Bridge Joints, Bridge Deck Patches, Bridge Overlays, Excavation, Flatwork Concrete, Concrete Repairs, Shoring and Cribbing, and other self-perform work, in his 20+ year career.
Paul is the Senior Project Manager at Path Construction Northeast. He brings 30 years of experience to the company and has worked in many markets throughout the country. Paul began his career serving a carpenter apprenticeship in New Jersey. He has held various positions ranging from carpenter, foreman, superintendent, lead superintendent to project manager. Paul has extensive experience in new ground up projects as well as renovation work. Paul’s project experience is very diverse ranging from schools, Prisons, Casinos, Banks, Self-Storage, Hospitality, etc. In addition to running multiple projects, Paul is directly involved with bidding as well as contract negotiations.
